Harlow Glass Completes Slimline Sliding Door Installation at The Oval

Harlow Glass has completed the design, procurement and installation of slimline sliding glass doors at the prestigious London Oval Cricket Ground.

The project formed part of the renovation of individual corporate boxes, along with the upgrade of a large corporate suite. The design intent called for a robust glazed door solution that would maximise views across the stadium, maintain minimal sightlines and provide a flush threshold between the internal hospitality areas and the external viewing spaces.

Harlow Glass worked closely with the main contractor during the design development stage to refine the system details and ensure the finished installation met both the aesthetic and performance requirements of the project. Particular attention was given to the integration of the slimline sliding doors within the existing structure, helping to create a clean, modern finish while maintaining ease of use for guests.

The structural integrity of the new screens was reviewed against the stadium specification, with Harlow Glass liaising with our structural consultants to provide a full analysis of the proposed system. This ensured the installation delivered the required performance while preserving the slimline appearance central to the design.

Externally, new cladding panels were installed to complete the upgraded appearance and cloak the existing structural columns, creating a consistent and high-quality finish across the corporate areas.
