Harlow Glass Installs Glazed Shopfronts for New IKEA Brighton Store

Harlow Glass has completed the installation of new glazed shopfronts and entrance glazing for the new IKEA store in the heart of Brighton.

The project included the installation of a frameless glass shopfront to the shopping centre frontage, creating a clean, modern showcase entrance for the new store. Designed to maximise visibility into the retail space, the frameless glazing provides a bright and welcoming frontage while complementing the wider shopping centre environment.

Internally, Harlow Glass also installed a new glazed rooflight above the main circulation space. This feature helps flood the interior with natural light, enhancing the customer experience and creating a more open and inviting atmosphere within the store.

A further element of the project involved the installation of a curtain walling system within the existing car park structure, forming the entrance to the Click-and-Collect area. This included automatic sliding doors to provide convenient access for customers collecting orders.

The Click-and-Collect entrance required careful detailing and coordination to ensure the new glazing system integrated successfully within the existing concrete ribs of the car park structure. Harlow Glass worked to deliver a robust and practical solution while maintaining a clean architectural finish.
