Harlow Glass Completes Friars Yard Project at 160 Blackfriars Road

Harlow Glass is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Friars Yard project at 160 Blackfriars Road in London, executed in collaboration with main contractor QOB. This project highlights our commitment to precision and innovation in architectural glazing, bringing the original design intent to life with meticulous detail.

The exterior of the building now features striking large fluted glass panels, elegantly installed on a bespoke canopy that adds a distinctive touch to the structure's facade. This sophisticated design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also reinforces the architectural vision for Friars Yard.

Inside the building, we undertook a comprehensive overhaul of the existing staircase, installing new post and rail balustrades with glass infills. This update revitalizes the interior space, offering both safety and style with a modern, transparent look.

One of the most exciting elements of the project is the frameless glass balustrade installed on the roof. Designed to maximize the panoramic views across London, this feature provides an unobstructed vista, allowing residents and visitors to fully appreciate the city skyline.
