Entrance Upgrade at Fleet Place House Completed by Harlow Glass

Harlow Glass is proud to announce the successful completion of the entrance upgrade at Fleet Place House, delivered in collaboration with main contractor OD Group. This project formed part of a larger CAT-A fit-out, designed to optimize the reception area by increasing the internal floor space and re-configuring the entrance for improved accessibility.

Working closely with the client architects, Barr Gazetas, our team expertly adapted the existing curtain wall system while preserving as many original panels as possible. The reconfiguration involved moving the revolving door further towards the exterior, and constructing a new portal around the existing glazing. This allowed for the integration of two new automated pedestrian pass doors, which are linked to the building’s management system to meet Part M accessibility requirements.

The portal was finished with bespoke aluminium cladding, alongside custom replacement panels installed above the entrance, creating a sleek and modern look that seamlessly enhances the overall aesthetic of the building.
