Harlow Glass Completes Exterior Facade Refurbishment at 66 Berners Street
Harlow Glass is proud to announce the completion of the exterior facade refurbishment at 66 Berners Street, a key project undertaken for Corley & Woolley. The building, which once house the offices of Top Shop, required intricate work to install new glazing while preserving its original marble and stone features.
This project presented unique challenges, including the integration of a new entrance door, glazed screens, and a canopy into the existing facade. To achieve a seamless look, an aluminum framing system was custom-designed and installed, creating a "frameless" glazed corner using stepped double glazing. The design also called for the precise integration of the new full-height pass door with a revolving door supplied directly by Boon Edam.
A new canopy was installed above the entrance, meticulously crafted to match an existing canopy further along the building. Through detailed surveys and close collaboration with steel suppliers, Harlow Glass ensured an almost identical match, preserving the building's aesthetic continuity.
The revamped entrance now offers a striking, light-filled entryway that enhances accessibility and provides a welcoming atmosphere to the office reception.
