Harlow Glass Completes Sleek Balustrade Installation for James Taylor Construction
Harlow Glass is delighted to announce the successful installation of internal post and rail balustrading with glass infill for James Taylor Construction in Kilburn, London. This project involved fitting balustrades in the reception area and communal staircases of a new apartment building.
The reception railings required higher load-bearing capacity due to public access, which was achieved using a robust aluminum post and rail system. Toughened glass infill panels were used to provide a clean, modern aesthetic, which was seamlessly continued through to the communal staircases.
In the staircases, a cranked support system was employed to carry the handrail, accompanied by bespoke shaped glass that follows the profile of the staircase stringers, ensuring full compliance with building regulations.
