Harlow Glass has recently completed an innovative upgrade at the distinguished 5 Savile Row, integrating bespoke glass solutions that blend cutting-edge design with functionality. The project, managed by the main contractor Overbury, included the installation of a unique internal glass screen, feature panels for the reception area, and a new entrance screen with access control, all meticulously designed to meet the project's sophisticated aesthetic requirements.

A highlight of the project was the installation of a bespoke internal glass screen, featuring a copper mesh sheet encapsulated within laminated glass. This element not only enhances visual appeal but also offers an elegant privacy solution without obstructing natural light.

The same bespoke laminated glass with copper mesh was used to create distinctive feature panels around the reception area. These panels, adorned with laser-cut lettering in line with the building’s branding, seamlessly integrated into the overall design, reinforcing the building’s high-end image.

To complete the upgrade, Harlow Glass installed a new entrance screen paired with an access-controlled door. This addition improves security while providing a sleek and modern entry point, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

To ensure the project met the original design intent, Harlow Glass employed Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This technology allowed for precise visualization of the support structure and final appearance, ensuring all elements were accurately designed and installed.

A variety of wire mesh samples were presented to the design team for approval, ensuring the chosen materials met the project's aesthetic and functional requirements. The selected copper mesh not only provided a distinctive look but also aligned with the building's branding and design ethos.
